Follow our guides on a 45-minute tour of historic Hayfield House. The home was built in 1930 by John and Bertha Conyngham. At the time, it was one of the most expensive and opulent houses in the area.
Tours during the Summer Arts Festival!
On August 27, 2023, Hayfiedl House Tours are scheduled at
11:00 AM, 1:15 PM, and 3:00 PM
Meet at the front entrance of the Hayfield House 10 minutes before the scheduled times.
Andria Doria Exhibit in the Friedman Art Gallery!
The Penn State Wilkes-Barre Friedman Art Gallery Andria Doria display features items that were recovered by the internationally acclaimed diver Gary Gentile. He brought back dishes, cups, plates, jewelry, ceramic pool panels, and more. On August 27th, Gary will discuss his extensive diving adventures from 11:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m. and 1:00-1:45 p.m. in the Barry Auditorium, Nesbitt Academic Commons Building, Room 103. He will encourage an open dialogue during and after each session.
